Hindu Constellations
Hindu constellations, known as Nakshatras, are a system of 27 lunar mansions used in Vedic astrology. Each Nakshatra represents a specific segment of the sky and is associated with particular qualities, deities, and symbols. They play a crucial role in determining auspicious timings for various activities, such as weddings and religious ceremonies.
The Nakshatras are divided into four quarters, or padas, each influencing personality traits and life events. The first Nakshatra, Ashwini, is linked to healing and new beginnings, while the last, Revati, symbolizes prosperity and guidance. Together, these constellations form a vital part of Hindu cosmology and astrology.
