Jyotisha
Jyotisha is an ancient Indian system of astrology that focuses on the positions and movements of celestial bodies to understand their influence on human life. It is one of the six auxiliary disciplines of Vedic studies and is often referred to as Vedic astrology. Practitioners, known as Jyotishis, use a person's birth chart, or Kundali, to provide insights into their personality, relationships, and future events.
The practice of Jyotisha is based on the belief that the positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets at the time of a person's birth can reveal important information about their life path. It incorporates various techniques, including the analysis of planetary transits and the use of Dasha systems, to make predictions and offer guidance.
