Hindko speakers
Hindko speakers are a linguistic group primarily found in northern Pakistan, particularly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and parts of Azad Kashmir. They speak the Hindko language, which is part of the Indo-Aryan language family. The community is diverse, comprising various ethnic groups, including Pashtuns and Punjabis.
The Hindko language has several dialects, reflecting the cultural and geographical diversity of its speakers. While many Hindko speakers are bilingual, often speaking Urdu or English, the preservation of their language and culture remains important to their identity.
