Himalayan tahr
The Himalayan tahr is a large herbivorous mammal native to the rugged mountains of the Himalayas. It has a thick, curly coat that helps it survive in cold climates. These animals are well-adapted to steep, rocky terrains, using their strong hooves and muscular bodies to navigate difficult landscapes.
Himalayan tahrs are social animals, often found in groups called herds. They primarily feed on grasses, shrubs, and other vegetation found in their mountainous habitat. Their population is concentrated in regions of Nepal, India, and Bhutan, where they play a vital role in the ecosystem.
