Hakainde Hichilema is a Zambian politician and businessman who has served as the President of Zambia since August 2021. He is the leader of the United Party for National Development (UPND) and has been a prominent figure in Zambian politics for many years, advocating for economic reforms and good governance. Born on June 4, 1962, in Monze, Hichilema studied economics and business at the University of Zambia and later earned an MBA from The University of Bristol. Before entering politics, he had a successful career in business, particularly in the livestock and agriculture sectors.
