Henry Howard, 3rd Earl of Suffolk
Henry Howard, 3rd Earl of Suffolk (1620–1688), was an English nobleman and politician. He was the son of Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Suffolk and Lady Elizabeth Home. Henry inherited the title of Earl of Suffolk in 1640 and served in various political roles during the tumultuous period of the English Civil War.
As a member of the House of Lords, he was involved in the governance of England and held the position of Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk. His life was marked by the shifting political landscape of the time, and he played a role in the restoration of the monarchy under King Charles II.
