Henry FitzAlan, 18th Earl of Arundel
Henry FitzAlan, 18th Earl of Arundel, was a prominent English nobleman born in 1512. He was the son of Henry FitzAlan, 17th Earl of Arundel and Mary FitzAlan. As a member of the Arundel family, he played a significant role in the political landscape of England during the Tudor period. He was known for his loyalty to the Catholic Church and was involved in various political and military affairs of his time.
FitzAlan inherited the title of Earl of Arundel in 1544 after his father's death. He was a supporter of Mary I and opposed the Protestant Reformation. His life was marked by his efforts to maintain the influence of the Catholic nobility in England, especially during the reigns of Edward VI and Elizabeth I. He died in 1580, leaving a legacy tied to the history of the English nobility.
