Henri I d'Orléans
Henri I d'Orléans, born in 1822, was a French nobleman and the head of the House of Orléans. He was the son of Louis-Philippe I, the last king of the French, and became known as the Count of Paris. After the fall of the monarchy in 1848, he lived in exile for many years.
In 1871, Henri I d'Orléans was proclaimed the rightful king of France by royalists, although he never officially ruled. He spent much of his life advocating for a constitutional monarchy and worked to maintain the legacy of the Orléans family in French history.
