Henri Falcón is a Venezuelan politician and former governor of the state of Lara. He was born on November 23, 1961, and has been a prominent figure in Venezuelan politics, initially serving as a member of the Venezuelan Socialist Party. Falcón later distanced himself from the party and became a leader of the opposition against the government of Nicolás Maduro. In 2018, Falcón ran for the presidency of Venezuela as a candidate for the Progressive Advance Party and the Christian Democratic COPEI party.
