Heimdall is a prominent figure in Norse mythology, known as the watchman of the gods. He is often depicted as having keen eyesight and hearing, allowing him to see and hear events occurring far away. Heimdall guards the Bifröst, the rainbow bridge that connects the realm of the gods, Asgard, to the realm of humans, Midgard.
In addition to his role as a guardian, Heimdall is also associated with the horn called Gjallarhorn, which he will blow to signal the onset of Ragnarök, the end of the world in Norse mythology. He is considered the son of Nine Mothers, symbolizing his connection to various realms and beings.
