Ragnarok is a series of events in Norse mythology that signifies the end of the world, culminating in a great battle between gods and giants. This cataclysmic event leads to the death of several major deities, including Odin and Thor, and results in the submersion of the world in water.
Following the destruction, the world is prophesied to resurface anew, fertile and rejuvenated. Survivors, including a few gods and two human beings, will repopulate the earth, marking a new beginning after the chaos of Ragnarok.
