Hedvig Eleonora
Hedvig Eleonora was a Swedish queen consort, born on November 23, 1636, in Sweden. She was the daughter of Duke Carl of Södermanland and Princess Maria of Sweden. Hedvig married King Charles X Gustav of Sweden in 1654 and became queen when he ascended the throne in 1654.
As queen, Hedvig Eleonora played a significant role in the royal court and was known for her intelligence and strong character. After her husband's death in 1660, she became a prominent figure in Swedish politics and culture, influencing various aspects of life in Sweden during her time.
