Health Service Ombudsman
The Health Service Ombudsman is an independent organization in the United Kingdom that investigates complaints about the National Health Service (NHS). It helps ensure that patients receive fair treatment and that their concerns are addressed properly. The Ombudsman reviews cases where individuals feel their complaints have not been resolved satisfactorily by the NHS.
If a patient believes they have experienced poor care or service, they can approach the Health Service Ombudsman after exhausting the NHS complaints process. The Ombudsman has the authority to recommend actions to improve services and ensure accountability within the NHS.
