Havana Syndrome
Havana Syndrome refers to a set of unexplained medical symptoms that first appeared in 2016 among U.S. and Canadian diplomats in Havana, Cuba. Affected individuals reported symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, hearing strange sounds, and cognitive difficulties. The cause of these symptoms remains unclear, leading to various theories, including exposure to a sonic or microwave weapon.
Since its initial occurrence, similar cases have been reported in other locations, affecting diplomats and intelligence personnel. Investigations by agencies like the CIA and CDC have sought to determine the origins and nature of the syndrome, but no definitive conclusions have been reached.
