Halal Cooking
Halal cooking refers to the preparation of food that complies with Islamic dietary laws. These laws dictate what is permissible to eat and how food should be prepared. For example, meat must come from animals that are slaughtered in a specific way, known as Zabiha, and certain ingredients, like pork and alcohol, are strictly prohibited.
In addition to the types of food, Halal also emphasizes cleanliness and hygiene in cooking. Utensils and surfaces should be free from contamination by non-Halal substances. This ensures that meals are not only compliant with religious guidelines but also safe and healthy for consumption.
