Haji (Pilgrimage)
The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, making it a fundamental act of worship for Muslims. Every able-bodied Muslim is required to perform the Hajj at least once in their lifetime, typically during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
During the Hajj, pilgrims engage in a series of rituals, including walking around the Kaaba, standing at the Plain of Arafat, and throwing stones at pillars representing the devil. The pilgrimage fosters a sense of unity and equality among Muslims, as millions gather from diverse backgrounds to worship together.
