Homonym: Haji (Pilgrimage)
A "Haji" is a term used to refer to a Muslim who has completed the pilgrimage to Mecca, known as the Hajj. This pilgrimage is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is required for all Muslims who are physically and financially able to undertake it at least once in their lifetime. The Hajj occurs annually during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Completing the Hajj is a significant spiritual achievement, and those who have done so often add "Haji" before their names as a mark of respect and honor. The pilgrimage involves a series of rituals, including walking around the Kaaba, praying at various holy sites, and participating in communal activities with millions of other pilgrims.
