Hadza
The Hadza are an indigenous group residing in northern Tanzania, primarily around the Lake Eyasi region. They are one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer societies in the world, relying on foraging and hunting for their sustenance. Their diet includes wild fruits, tubers, and game, showcasing their deep knowledge of the local ecosystem.
Traditionally, the Hadza live in small, mobile bands, which allows them to adapt to seasonal changes and resource availability. Their social structure is egalitarian, with decisions made collectively. The Hadza's way of life is increasingly threatened by modern development and land encroachment, raising concerns about their cultural survival.
