H.W.L. Poonja, also known as Papaji, was an Indian spiritual teacher born on October 13, 1910, in Lahore, which is now in Pakistan. Poonja became a prominent figure in the spiritual community after meeting his own teacher, Ramana Maharshi, in the 1940s.
