Gyeongjong
Gyeongjong was the 21st king of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, reigning from 1720 to 1724. He was the son of King Sukjong and Queen Inwon. His reign was marked by a focus on governance and the welfare of the people, although it was relatively short due to his ill health.
During his time as king, Gyeongjong attempted to implement reforms and stabilize the kingdom. However, his reign was overshadowed by political struggles among the ruling elite. After his death, he was succeeded by his half-brother, King Yeongjo, who would go on to have a significant impact on the dynasty.
