Gwadar Port
Gwadar Port is a deep-sea port located in the southwestern region of Pakistan, along the Arabian Sea. It serves as a key maritime hub for trade and commerce, providing access to international shipping routes. The port is strategically positioned near the Strait of Hormuz, making it an important gateway for goods traveling to and from the Middle East and beyond.
Developed with the assistance of China, Gwadar Port is part of the larger China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiative. This project aims to enhance connectivity and economic development in the region, facilitating trade and investment opportunities for both countries and contributing to the local economy.
