Gurmukhi Script
Gurmukhi Script is a writing system used primarily for the Punjabi language. Developed in the 15th century by the second Sikh Guru, Guru Angad, it was designed to promote literacy and make religious texts accessible to the common people. Gurmukhi consists of 41 letters, including vowels and consonants, and is written from left to right.
The script is closely associated with Sikhism and is used in many religious texts, including the Guru Granth Sahib. Gurmukhi has a unique appearance, characterized by its rounded shapes and distinctive diacritical marks, which help indicate vowel sounds and pronunciation.
