Guanacaste tree
The Guanacaste tree, scientifically known as *Enterolobium cyclocarpum*, is a large deciduous tree native to Central America. It is easily recognized by its distinctive umbrella-shaped canopy and large, flat seed pods that resemble a cow's horn. The tree can grow up to 25 meters tall and is often found in tropical dry forests.
This tree is significant for its ecological role, providing shade and habitat for various wildlife. The Guanacaste tree is also culturally important in countries like Costa Rica, where it is the national tree and symbolizes the region's natural beauty and biodiversity.
