Green Pit Viper
The Green Pit Viper is a venomous snake found primarily in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. Known for its vibrant green color, this snake has a distinctive triangular head and large, forward-facing fangs that help it capture prey. It primarily feeds on small mammals, birds, and amphibians, using its heat-sensing pits to detect warm-blooded animals.
These snakes are typically arboreal, meaning they spend much of their time in trees. They are excellent climbers and can be found resting on branches or leaves. While their venom is potent, they are generally not aggressive and will often retreat when threatened.
