Great Square
The Great Square, also known as the Great Square of Pegasus, is a prominent asterism in the constellation Pegasus. It consists of four bright stars that form a large square shape in the night sky. This asterism is easily recognizable and serves as a useful guide for locating other constellations.
The stars that make up the Great Square are Markab, Scheat, Alpheratz, and Algenib. These stars are relatively bright and can be seen from many locations around the world. The Great Square is particularly visible in the autumn months in the Northern Hemisphere.
