Grande Arche
The Grande Arche is a modern architectural monument located in the business district of La Défense, near Paris, France. Designed by Danish architect Johan Otto von Spreckelsen, it was completed in 1989 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. The structure is a large cube-shaped building, measuring 110 meters high, 108 meters wide, and 112 meters deep.
The Grande Arche serves as an office building and a cultural space, housing various organizations and exhibitions. Its design features a hollow center, allowing for a unique perspective of the sky above. The monument aligns with the historic Arc de Triomphe, creating a visual axis that connects the past with the future.
