Grand Duke Alexander of Russia
Grand Duke Alexander of Russia, born in 1866, was a member of the Romanov dynasty. He was the son of Grand Duke Alexander III and Empress Maria Feodorovna. Alexander served in the Russian military and held various ceremonial roles within the imperial court.
In 1893, he married Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna, strengthening ties with European royalty. Alexander was known for his interest in military affairs and his involvement in the modernization of the Russian army. He played a significant role during the early years of the Russo-Japanese War before his untimely death in 1933.
