Grain Alcohol
Grain alcohol, also known as ethanol or ethyl alcohol, is a clear, colorless liquid produced by fermenting grains such as corn, wheat, or barley. It is highly concentrated and typically contains 95% alcohol by volume, making it much stronger than standard alcoholic beverages. Grain alcohol is often used in the production of spirits, as well as in industrial applications and as a solvent.
Due to its high potency, grain alcohol should be handled with care. It is commonly diluted before consumption, as drinking it in its concentrated form can lead to severe health risks, including alcohol poisoning. Additionally, grain alcohol is sometimes used in homemade tinctures and infusions for medicinal purposes.
