Gorilla Behavior
Gorillas are highly social animals that live in groups called troops, typically led by a dominant male known as a silverback. These troops consist of several females and their offspring, and they communicate through vocalizations, body language, and facial expressions. Gorillas are known for their strong family bonds and often engage in grooming behaviors to reinforce social connections.
In the wild, gorillas primarily feed on leaves, stems, and fruits, spending a significant portion of their day foraging for food. They are generally peaceful creatures but can display aggression if threatened. Their behavior is influenced by their environment, social structure, and interactions with other primates.
