Chimpanzee Behavior
Chimpanzees are highly social animals that live in communities, often consisting of 20 to 150 individuals. They communicate using a variety of vocalizations, facial expressions, and gestures. Their social structure is complex, with established hierarchies and strong bonds formed through grooming and cooperative activities.
In the wild, chimpanzees exhibit tool use, such as using sticks to extract termites from mounds. They are omnivorous, feeding on fruits, leaves, seeds, and occasionally hunting small mammals. Their behavior reflects a high level of intelligence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn from one another.
