Goat Breeds
There are many different goat breeds, each with unique characteristics and purposes. Some popular breeds include the Nubian, known for its long ears and high milk production, and the Saanen, which is one of the largest dairy breeds. Other breeds, like the Boer, are primarily raised for meat due to their fast growth and muscular build.
In addition to dairy and meat breeds, there are also fiber goats like the Angora and Cashmere goats, which produce valuable fibers. Miniature breeds, such as the Nigerian Dwarf, are popular for small farms and as pets, offering friendly temperaments and manageable sizes.
