Giant Pandas
Giant pandas are large, bear-like mammals native to the mountainous regions of China. They are easily recognized by their distinctive black and white fur, with black patches around their eyes, ears, and on their limbs. These animals primarily feed on bamboo, which makes up about 99% of their diet, although they can occasionally eat other plants or small animals.
Giant pandas are classified as vulnerable due to habitat loss and low birth rates. Conservation efforts, including habitat preservation and breeding programs, have been implemented to help increase their population. They are an important symbol for wildlife conservation and are often featured in campaigns to protect endangered species.
