German Spring Offensive
The German Spring Offensive was a series of military attacks launched by the German Empire during World War I in March 1918. The goal was to break the stalemate on the Western Front before American forces could fully arrive. The offensive initially achieved significant territorial gains, utilizing new tactics and technologies, including infiltration and stormtrooper units.
Despite early successes, the offensive ultimately stalled due to logistical issues and strong Allied resistance. By July 1918, the Allies launched their counteroffensive, leading to a shift in momentum. The failure of the Spring Offensive marked a turning point in the war, contributing to the eventual defeat of Germany.
