Georg Christoph Lichtenberg
Georg Christoph Lichtenberg was a German physicist and satirist, born on July 1, 1742, in Ober-Ramstadt, Germany. He is best known for his work in the field of electricity and for being one of the first to use the term "electrophorus." Lichtenberg's experiments contributed to the understanding of static electricity, and he is often regarded as a pioneer in the field.
