Geography of Cuba
Cuba is an island nation located in the Caribbean Sea, south of the United States and east of Mexico. It is the largest island in the Caribbean, covering approximately 109,884 square kilometers. The country is known for its diverse landscapes, which include mountains, plains, and coastal areas. The Sierra Maestra mountain range is the highest point, while the surrounding waters are rich in marine life.
The capital city, Havana, is situated on the northwestern coast and serves as the political and cultural center of the country.
