General John J. Pershing
General John J. Pershing was a prominent American military leader during World War I. Born on September 13, 1860, in Missouri, he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Pershing played a crucial role in organizing and leading the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) in Europe, helping to turn the tide of the war.
