Gabrielino language
The Gabrielino language is a Native American language that was historically spoken by the Gabrielino people, who are indigenous to the Los Angeles area in California. It belongs to the Uto-Aztecan language family, which includes several languages spoken across the western United States and Mexico.
Today, the Gabrielino language is considered extinct, as it has not been spoken fluently for many years. However, efforts are being made to revive the language through educational programs and community initiatives, aiming to preserve the cultural heritage of the Gabrielino-Tongva tribe.
