Frederik IV
Frederik IV was the King of Denmark and Norway from 1699 until his death in 1730. He was born on October 11, 1671, and was the son of Christian V and Charlotte Amalie. Frederik IV is known for his efforts to modernize the Danish state and improve its economy, as well as for his military campaigns during the Great Northern War.
During his reign, Frederik IV also focused on strengthening the monarchy and centralizing power. He implemented various reforms in administration and taxation, which helped to stabilize the kingdom. His reign is often seen as a period of relative peace and prosperity for Denmark and Norway.
