Frederick III
Frederick III was a German Emperor and King of Prussia who reigned for a brief period in 1888. Born on October 18, 1831, he was the son of William I and became known for his liberal views and support for reforms. His reign lasted only 99 days due to his battle with throat cancer, which ultimately led to his death on June 15, 1888.
Frederick III was married to Victoria, Princess Royal, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. Their marriage produced eight children, including William II, who succeeded him as Emperor. Frederick's short reign is often overshadowed by the more dominant figures of his time.
