Francis Seymour-Conway, 12th Earl of Hertford
Francis Seymour-Conway, 12th Earl of Hertford, was a British nobleman born on March 22, 1795. He inherited the title of Earl of Hertford in 1822 after the death of his father, Francis Seymour-Conway, 11th Earl of Hertford. The Earl was known for his involvement in the arts and his significant collection of paintings, which included works by renowned artists.
He served as a Member of Parliament for Ludlow and held various positions in local government. The 12th Earl passed away on June 21, 1842, and was succeeded by his son, Francis Seymour-Conway, 13th Earl of Hertford.
