Francis Seymour-Conway, 11th Earl of Hertford
Francis Seymour-Conway, 11th Earl of Hertford, was a British nobleman born on March 22, 1797. He inherited the title of Earl of Hertford in 1822 after the death of his father, Francis Seymour-Conway, 10th Earl of Hertford. The Earl was known for his involvement in the arts and his extensive collection of paintings, which included works by renowned artists.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, the 11th Earl was also a politician, serving as a member of the House of Lords. He held the position of Lord Lieutenant of Middlesex from 1831 until his death in 1842. His contributions to society and culture were significant during his lifetime.
