Fracture Repair
Fracture repair is the process of healing broken bones, which can occur due to injury or stress. The body naturally begins to heal by forming a blood clot and a callus around the fracture site. This callus eventually hardens into new bone tissue, restoring strength and function.
In some cases, medical intervention is necessary for proper healing. This can involve methods such as casting, surgery, or the use of metal plates and screws to stabilize the bone. Rehabilitation exercises may also be recommended to regain mobility and strength after the fracture has healed.
