Four Tendencies
The "Four Tendencies" is a framework developed by Gretchen Rubin that categorizes people based on how they respond to expectations. The four types are: Upholders, who meet both inner and outer expectations; Questioners, who question all expectations and only follow those they find justified; Obligers, who meet outer expectations but struggle with inner ones; and Rebels, who resist all expectations.
Understanding these tendencies can help individuals improve their habits and interactions. By recognizing one's own tendency and that of others, people can tailor their approaches to motivation, accountability, and support, leading to more effective communication and collaboration.
