Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
The "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" are figures described in the Christian Bible, specifically in the Book of Revelation. They symbolize different aspects of the end times and are often interpreted as representing conquest, war, famine, and death. Each horseman rides a different colored horse: white, red, black, and pale, respectively.
The first horseman, riding a white horse, is often seen as a conqueror. The second, on a red horse, represents conflict and bloodshed. The third, on a black horse, signifies famine and scarcity. Finally, the fourth horseman, on a pale horse, embodies death, often accompanied by Hades. Together, they depict the trials and tribulations that precede the final judgment.
