Fokker D.VI
The Fokker D.VI was a German fighter aircraft used during World War I. Introduced in 1917, it was designed to be a lightweight and agile plane, featuring a sesquiplane configuration with a lower wing smaller than the upper wing. This design allowed for improved maneuverability in dogfights.
Powered by a Mercedes D.III engine, the Fokker D.VI could reach speeds of around 185 km/h (115 mph). Although it was not as widely used as other fighters, it contributed to the development of later aircraft designs and showcased the advancements in aviation technology during the war.
