Flight 175
Flight 175 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight operated by United Airlines from Boston to Los Angeles. On September 11, 2001, it was hijacked by five terrorists associated with al-Qaeda and crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.
The flight took off at 8:14 AM and was airborne for approximately 14 minutes before being taken over by the hijackers. At 9:03 AM, it struck the South Tower, resulting in significant destruction and loss of life, contributing to the tragic events of that day, which are now referred to as the September 11 attacks.
