Flag Of South Korea
The Flag of South Korea, known as the Taegeukgi, features a white field symbolizing peace and purity. In the center, a red and blue circle represents the balance of opposites, inspired by the Yin and Yang philosophy. The circle is divided into two halves, with red on top and blue below, signifying harmony.
Surrounding the circle are four black trigrams, each representing different elements: heaven, earth, fire, and water. These trigrams are derived from the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text. Together, the elements and colors reflect the country's values and philosophy, emphasizing balance and unity.
