Firoz Shah
Firoz Shah Tughlaq was a prominent ruler of the Tughlaq dynasty in India, reigning from 1351 to 1388. He is known for his administrative reforms, including the establishment of a more efficient tax system and the construction of numerous public works, such as canals and hospitals. His efforts aimed to improve the welfare of his subjects and enhance agricultural productivity.
Firoz Shah also focused on promoting education and culture. He founded several madrasas and libraries, encouraging learning and scholarship. His reign is often noted for its relative stability compared to other periods of the Delhi Sultanate, making him a significant figure in Indian history.
