Ferdinand IV
Ferdinand IV was a Spanish king who ruled from 1746 until his death in 1759. He was born on September 6, 1713, and was the son of Philip V of Spain and Elizabeth Farnese. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the Spanish monarchy and improve the economy, although he faced challenges from various political factions.
During his rule, Ferdinand IV dealt with issues such as the War of the Austrian Succession and the subsequent Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle. Despite his efforts, his reign is often seen as a continuation of the policies established by his father, and he is remembered for his relatively short and uneventful time on the throne.
