Fenit Lighthouse
Fenit Lighthouse is located on the southwestern coast of Ireland, near the village of Fenit in County Kerry. Built in 1853, it stands at a height of 18 meters and is an important navigational aid for ships entering Tralee Bay. The lighthouse features a distinctive white tower with a red band, making it easily recognizable.
The lighthouse is automated and is operated by the Commissioners of Irish Lights. It emits a flashing white light every 5 seconds, visible for up to 20 nautical miles. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding coastline and the nearby Slieve Mish Mountains.
